Trickbag go after that fat 'n' luxuriant blues sound with the help of the fabulous Butcher Boys horn section.

The brass was all class, horn and sax Stax-ing, the riffs high as Berry Gordy's eye. Vocalist Donna Panchezak is the stylistic equivalent of say, John Mellencamp; straight up, genuine, no tricky stuff.

She was commanding on Ain't Nobody and Black Rain, while others, like the rollicking set-closer Moose Legs' Boogie, allowed for the band to step out fancy.
